Principal's Message

Dear New Vision High School Community,

I hope this note finds you well. My name is Thomas Staples, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of New Vision High School.

First, let me share a bit about myself. I have called beautiful North Idaho home for the past 37 years. My family is my pride and joy, with my wife, Janie Staples, and our three beautiful daughters who keep our lives full of adventure.

Speaking of adventure, when I’m not at school, you’ll likely find me backcountry skiing, mountain climbing, biking, or backpacking through the great outdoors. And yes, I admit to spending quite a bit of time puttering in the yard like an old man.

As I step into this role, my primary goal is to collaboratively lead our dedicated staff with the vision to know, care about, and make a meaningful difference for each of our students. I am deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.

I am looking forward to meeting each of you and working together to create an extraordinary year ahead.
